Evidence of spiritual beliefes existing 2.6 Million Years ago has not been found, but as an artist one can imagine the things that proto humans would have seen in their Minds' Eye.

page 41, Even if people find the story lacking, i think they will love the art. This last page seems to have influence from Moebius, i've been working towards having a cleaner line.

Here are some pages from My next graphic novel project, Pleistocene. Here we are looking at the lives of proto-human people, people that payed the way for us. The first volume will be three, maybe four chapters. More pages can be found on my website at http://www.gatorhorsestudios.com/pleistocene-838825.html. Thank you for taking a look at this work, it represents something that means a lot to me, the search for understanding about who we are and our place on this planet.

The High Preistess

This interpretation of the High Priestess was created to announce the release of
SOGGY VAMPIRES, a halloween themed 7 inch record and accompanying 7 inch comic book. Two stories that start on opposite ends and meet in the middle.

The songs were written performed by Dylan M Blackthorn,
and illustrated by yours truly.

This project has been a complete joy to work on, I am quite proud of the work and can't wait to share it with everyone.

The Release Show will be October 15th at Radio Coffee and Beer., Austin Texas.
There will be live music and the original art for the comic pages will be hanging around too.

hello to whom it may concern...

I have launched my patreon page.
If anyone is interested in supporting my
creative life, here is a link to my page:
 https://www.patreon.com/gatorhorsestudios

I feel grateful that i received the gift of art from the universe,
I have spent many a year practicing my craft and my favorite thing to
do with it is share it and connect with my fellow humans, for after all,
are we not social beings and have we not evolved to cooperate with one another?

May you as well as i never loose the sense of wonder
for creativity of nature and infinite possibilities
ever hovering arounds all!

Failure can teach you what to practice.

Sometimes I wish I was the best, but mostly I just want to be seen.
I guess it's just that it seems like "only the best will do" and to hell
with the rest, only, go ahead and follow your dreams (to what ever end.)

It can feel like if you want to be seen you have to be the best
but in reality if you want to be seen you have to persist or exist.

Learning about failure is something I've done on my own, I've never felt like
it was ok to fail at something, the process of learning needed to be more like a game for me, if I could make something into a game I would want to do it. But to be good at something has always been important to me, even though the getting good at something is the important part, being versus getting. Patience is the key to getting good at something, patience while you practice. Failure can teach you what to practice.

I have been an artist all my life and a freelance illustrator for about 30 years and. Some of my earliest inspiration came from my mother, Frazetta, and comics! When I was a kid, I used to copy John Buscema, Ross Andru, and Steve Ditko comics. In 2018 I decided to re-devote my-self to my visual art and to get into self-publishing comics. I have 3 self -published comics under my belt and I have been published in local magazine and zines. I also do illustration for CD/Albums, posters and t-shirt design, magazine covers.
I often see experiences in life as sequential art in my head. I love comics and I appreciate the versatility that the medium has to tell stories. Some artists and creators I draw inspiration from are Paul Pope, Joe Sacco, Terry Moore, Eric Drooker, Paul Chadwick, John Buscema, John Romita and Gill Kane.
